Nowadays the importance of looking after the environment is constantly growing. Cars with hybrid engines are being manufactured and sold, there are shops full of organic food, we all are ready to pay for pure water, in Japan people even pay for pure oxygen! There are many examples of how people are ready to give a lot of money to help the environment. And they are right, because unfortunately most factories that pollute our environment have been developed without regard to their environmental impact. Unless we do something about it, this will continue until nature exhausts itself.

It is the reduction of natural resources that led to the great growth of its cost. And today, if we care about ourselves, want to be healthy, we have to spend more money for ecologically clean houses, organic food etc.

Therefore it is reasonable to ask if the production of log houses damages the environment? I can definitely answer - no. Firstly, there are no emissions or pollution during production, waste products are used for fertilizers. Secondly, wooden houses of our quality will last for 80 years minimum and that is enough time for forest renewal.
